Easy to install - just remove your existing carbine length handguard and replace / 'drop-in' this one.  No need to remove the front sight post or make any other modifications NOTE:  These handguards will fit most standard DPMS and Aero Precision LR .308 upper receivers, but the top rail will only fit flush with the .308 Low Profile Uppers. Not for use with Armalite AR-10 Uppers.   Fits round end cap.
